AFRICAN IMMIGRANT WOMEN

DADA and Dada Kwa Dada: A study of two programs to promote healthy sexual relationships among African immigrant women.

To see whether an individual (one-on-one) intervention or a group intervention is better at improving healthy sexual behavior among African-born immigrant women in the United States.

People who identify with ALL the conditions below are encouraged to participate.

  • Women (female sex at birth and identify as female)
  • Born in Africa
  • Black or mixed-race
  • Age: 18years to 45years
  • Based in Massachusetts or New York City
  • Fluent in English or French

If you participate in this study, you’ll get the latest information about sexual health, HIV, and relationships that are designed to fit the culture and needs of African immigrant women living in the United States. Please also give us feedback about your experience participating in this study.

You may receive up to $240 in compensation, depending on your level of participation.
