If you are interested in our study, you will:

  • Use this site to let the research assistant (RA) know you are interested.
  • The RA will contact you using the contact information you give.
  • The RA will tell you more about the study. You can ask any questions you have.
  • The RA will ask you some questions to see if you are “eligible,” that is if you meet the rules of the study.
  • The RA will schedule the first lab session to confirm your eligibility.
  • You will review and sign a consent form. (A consent form states your rights, the possible benefits and harms, and what you have to do in the study.)
  • If you are eligible and still want to join, the RA will enroll you.
  • You will complete the first online survey.
  • You will be randomly assigned to participate in a one-hour individual session or two 3-hour group sessions on health, relationships, and HIV prevention.
  • You will complete the second online survey.
  • You will complete the final online survey.
  • The RA will schedule the last lab session.
  • You will receive a certificate of completion.
